Winter 2012

The kids and I are hopefully on the mend from a NASTY sickness.  Including ear infections, sinus infections and upper respiratory symptoms.  I hate seeing my babies sick, however there is one perk to it.  I get the most amazing hugs, love, snot nose kisses when they are under the weather.  I know it is horrible to say, I love getting SOME SUPER love.  I don't even mind the snot, most of the time.  My son, is officially 2, now and it being a little defiant about his naps, or lack of naps.  Em has turned a corner and is sleeping amazing thru the night.  I had to revert back to the swing the last few days because of her congestion but 12 straight hours is amazing! All you mama's out there no what I am talking about!

We just celebrated JP's 32nd birthday!  WOW!  Where does the time go.  I meet JP when he was 21 at CWU.  A lot has changed since then, a little recap:  We are married now 4 years, have an amazing dog and tiny cat, we have a super cool son and a uber, adorable daughter, careers, a house, and yes, I am still driving my 2002 toyota 4runner!!!!  Being married isn't aways sunshine and rainbows, but I won't want it any other way.  JP is the best teammate ever!  He is loyal, kind, thoughtful, hardworking, sensitive ( his favorite scent is lavender) and loving.  A bit oblivious at times, but I can deal!

The winter has been crazy this year, BIG SNOW, crazy storms, change all around us!  Enjoying it but looking forward to spring, softball, and sunshine.

This one is for you Brenner Boo...

I thought that I would write my second post about a very, very special little man in my life named Brenner Russell "Boo" Perry!  I think it is appropriate since he is turning 2 in two days!  I can't even believe how fast 2 years has gone and how much he has changed.  We went to the doctors this morning for his two year check up.  He is off the charts for height, in the 110% ( 37.5 in) and 33 lbs which is the 90-95%.  He has only gained 2 pounds in the last year!  WOW!  He is an active, destructive, walking, talking toddler.  He is wearing size 9 shoes and 3-4T clothing!  Boo has the most adorable blonde curly hair, and is yet to have a hair cut!  He is a master of taking his clothes off, especially his pajamas and night time diaper!  However, he is very kind and usually puts the diaper in the diaper champ near his bed ;)!!!  Brenners favorite thing right now is CARS!  He loves the movie Cars 1 and 2!  He races around the house doing VROOM VROOM!  His favorite food is muffins!  Any kind will do and he loves to eat apples without the skin.  He loves to read  books and especially tear the book apart when you are not looking!  He is usually a kind child, and is taking more of an interst in his little sister.  This includes taking her bottles and binki's.  We have to intervene at times when he tries to cram his binki down her throat, thanks for sharing Boo!  Brenner also LOVES his boots.  I found him in his boots the other morning, with his pajamas on.  JP says he didn't put him to bed with them on, so apparently they fell close enough to the bed he could reach them and pull them into the bed to wear.  Boo thinks that when you wear boots you are not suppose to wears socks, which is not the case!  He has extremely stinking feet!  PEE EWWWW!    Brenner is getting so tall this days he locked me out of the house yesturday!  Good thing I had my keys in my pocket, or else Brenner would have been stuck in the house with Emmy all alone!  YIKES ;)!  I never knew a mothers love until I had my own babies!  It is truely an amazing and hilarious time!  I will post more soon.  Until then, loving life, enjoying the winter weather, smiling cuz I can......I love you Boo!  Love Mama

My first post.....

 I am a very passionate women about all things that I love.  I LOVE my family!  I have an amazing hardworking, brillant and handsome husband.  I have been blessed with two healthy, adorable children, my sweet son Brenner aka Boo, and Emilia Kate aka Emmy.  I love being a nurse.  There is no other career in the world that I was MEANT to do.  I love helping people and working hard at everything I do.  I enjoy looking for treasures, may that be for the home, children, or friends.  I believe that people need to smiles more and let the little things go.  Life is short, but oh so sweet.  I believe in organic foods, reading to your kids and exercise!  I am finally getting back into running and LOVIN every minute of it.  My favorite holiday is christmas, I wish I could keep a tree up all year!  I love seattle based sport teams!  I miss the Sonics.  I pretend to like the yankee's because my husband is a fan, secretly I root for the RED SOX!  haha  I am forever changing my hair color because I love the change.  I wish I traveled more, but enjoying my time at home with Jp and the kids!  I love living in Washington because it is a beautiful, green, and lush!  There is usually 4 amazing season's and tons to do.  I think it is very important to have friends, good friends at that.  For they are the ones that help you when life gives you lemons!  I also think it is important to remember the small things, like peoples birthdays and anniversay's!  I truly believe that my sister and mother are my soul sisters. I think Bernese Mt. Dogs are the cutest, most fabulous animals in the world, or at least my sweet Izzie bear!  I try to take good pictures of my life and would like to share that with friends and family that are willing to visit and read.  So enjoy the goodstuff.....
